How funny - Karen lives in the next town over from me - I read her blog faithfully. She is SO creative. I have to say that one tip she gave that I use is that my light and my iron are both plugged into the same power strip. When I turn off the power strip to shut the light off - I'm guaranteed to turn off that iron too!

Really nice and pretty to look at but I hate having my fabric exposed to the light. I have been using a book shelf for years that I covered the front of with fabric curtains. My husband just made doors for it and inside the doors put shelves. Now I can store my rulers, current project patterns, small cutting mat etc etc. It really neatened the place up getting that stuff out of sight.
