Default Crossginny, are you around? Question about Mini bow....

Hi, I'm new to this board and I bought a Mini Bow Tuck pattern recently and was very surprized to see all the posts regarding this pattern. I just finished making it and I am soooooo disappointed because it came out so large. I bought it at a quilt shop and I loved the size of the model.....after reading the posts I realize it must have been a mini, but the patterns were for the larger one. It looks like from reading Crossginny's posts that she has downsized the large pattern. I would like to know how to make mine smaller. Thanks in advance for any replys. I love this site and hope to lurk around here some more! I will eventually post a pic of my "tote"! when I figure out how to do it!

I use the basic pattern and adjust all the measurements for what I am looking for. I have made them much larger for a diaper bag, but I want to make a couple that are even smaller than the mini for little girls. I would measure a purse you like and then cut the width of the fabric to that size and the same with the pockets and other measurements except the ties, handles, and the button piece.

I guess I'll give it a try. I guess whatever I come up with will work. Thanks

I bought the pattern for the mini and it's too small for me. Tried making one 3 inches bigger but goofed up and it was huge. Did something wrong with the bottom. I can give you the measurements if you PM me.

    Casi,
    I sent you a PM. : )
the important thing to remember is to adjust all the pieces by the same percentage.
