    Default Crossing my fingers

I think I just made a mistake! I just finished a baby blanket with minky as the backing. I FMQ it and I found it hard because my sewing machine is not flush with my table. I assured myself that it would be fine and that when it was washed the wrinkles would help to hide my stitches.

I know that minky does not shrink and that the cotton top would. I washed the top and the batting before quilting. I wish I didnt wash the batting.

So...... when I wash it will it be crinkly? I sure hope it is!

    Heading to the washing machine.

Don't know, I never wash batting. Mine always look crinkly.

Guess you'll just have to wash it and see.

I think it will pucker up a little it.

Hard to say. Was the batting cotton? If so, it might shrink a little more.

Its not as crinkly as I would have liked. Now the question is......Is it gift-worthy? Am I being too critical?

I dont think it would ever be crinkly enough to hide my stitches.
