I have enough of the purple bags to start my quilt. I know I want the logo in most of the blocks. I'm thinking a simple star block, snowball block or something like that. No other plans yet. Has anyone here made one? Would love to see some photos and hear suggestions about working on this quilt. Thanks a bunch.

If you go to the top - click search and put in " Crown Royal" you should find a few pics

I've quilted a couple crazy-patch ones with a crown design and stars and crowns.

A guild member made one. Alternate squares of logo and plain purple blocks, maybe on point. It turned out beautiful.

Thanks Sharon. I never even thought of "searching" the board. Having one of those duh days I guess. Lots of info available.

A friend of mine, made a evening gown with those bags for a lady for a Mardi Gras Ball. It was very pretty.

I am working on one right now - just a simple star block. I have not decided if I will use sashing or if I will alternate solid blocks with the star block. I just make a few blocks when I am in the mood - in between other projects.
