DEBRA: Your blocks look like they're quilted. Are they? Your instructions don't go that far.
Thanks - This would be a perfect project for a sewing machine that's sitting all alone in a separate room. :(

yes, they are quilted. They're each about the size of a fat quarter. That's what they're backed with. They are backed with inexpensive "what was I thinking when I bought this" fat quarters ;-)
I quilted aprox a 1.5" grid. I work on these when I'm between projects or don't know what to make next. They are my threapy quilts ;-) Sometimes I just sew aimlessly when I'm in a funk. Like going for a drive and not knowing where you'll end up.

These are great, I would sew them together and make a quilt with them. I was going to save scraps and make one, I forgot about it and threw small trimmings away, now I have to go through my wastecan and retrieve the ones in there. I think they would make a beautiful quilt.

Thanks - at this quilted point I bet joining them with the binding would be pretty easy.
I'll put this type of project on my 'winter to-do list' for when it's too cold to sew downstairs....hmmm maybe on the treadle machine that's in the same room as the wood burning stove! :)
