As for Aurifil thread, I've heard from a lot of my friends that they are experiencing a lot of lint from it too. So, I say, go for the less expensive one if you're going to get lint anyway. Never heard of Isocord though.

I love CT thread and have never had a problem with breakage or lint while using it. The color choices are wonderful and the price is very low. I would recommend that you use a new needle when starting a new project and to make sure that it is the right size for the thread and fabric you are using. This will eliminate thread breakage and lint. There may be a difference between thread brands but I buy what works for me and what I can afford without compromising my standards and Connecting Threads thread fits these criteria.

Thanks to everyone who answered my questions. Is this a great QB or what?!!!
I just ordered several spools of CT's Essential Cotton thread. I've been meaning to try it for piecing ever since I first heard Eddie praising it quite a while ago. With this nice sale, now is the time!
