I've used it and haven't had any problems so far.

    That's a GREAT price!

Aurofil is great stuff but it's also the most expensive thread I've ever bought. If you can afford it, good for you. Until I win the lottery I'll stick with CT and Isacord.

I've been a bit disappointed with ct thread, it's so linty. I am forever cleaning off the needle and bobbin case. Otherwise, it is smooth, ect. I'm going to try Isacord next.

I buy it for $5 a spool from Tristan Threads..so it's not any more expensive than Gutermann etc. No lottery winning needed. I guess it's very hard to use quality thread like Aurifil and step down to anything else.

Amen! I love Aurifil but I can get 3-4 times the amount of thread on CT spools, which I love the thread, for the same price that I pay for 1 spool of Aurifil. CT's thread works great for me, I have it in about 20 colors. For quilting, I prefer it over Aurifil, actually.

I love it and my machine loves it. I just stocked up on a boatload of neutrals.

I find it to be very linty...and my Elna does not like it at all. I can use Signature threads though! Go figure.
I prefer Aurifil and YLI or Gutterman silk finish
