Default Pattern Storage Ideas

I have quite a few patterns, the Simplicity kind. I'm trying to figure out how to store them. Right now they're in my filing cabinet, in the front of one of the drawers. How do you guys organize/store them?

TIA

Hi Tia,
I was planning on using a filing cabinet, I had seen one organized that way, but never got around to getting another cabinet. So, I'm not very original to storing those patterns. I just use cardboard boxes - the type sold at Staples/Office Depot. I have enough that I use one box for children and dolls, another box for the rest. I have considered getting plastic boxes instead, but just haven't even looked. Eager to see what others do.

I don't have very many patterns except for doll clothes. I put each pattern in a gallon size plastic bag and stack them in a cardboard box labeled with what's in there. By the way, I do not like sewing doll clothes] but I love my DGD so I do it for her.

I use some of the old(?) blue & white boxes they made sized for patterns. Not sure if they still make them. I also use plastic bins. Hope you find something that works for you~

I use 16 quart plastic containers and lay the patterns sideways. I label the containers with the type of patterns in each. They can be stacked and stored with no problems.
