One day, I was in the mood to make something different. So, in a box I had gotten at a yard sale were these little squares, I'm guessing that they were 2 1/2" square. I found out later that they were used to clean guns/rifles. ANYWAY, I made the cutest little mini log cabin blocks, using the sqares as my foundation. They turned out adorable, so i left the foundation in, sewed them together and gave the wallhanging to a friend. Just goes to show you, a quilter can make things out of just about anything....

UGH~Mine wanted rags for his shop. He had the nerve to suggest there might be something in my "room" that he could use. Got him educated in that department real quick!

    Men!

Mine needed a headliner for inside the roof of the old car he's restoring and I saw him eyeing my quilts! Soon sorted him out! (So instead I am making him one which is probably more work than the quilts).

Would love to see the quilt though.

DH saw my bundles of fat quarters that came in the mail and asked why I needed all those rags. LOL

Mine too. He thinks all fabrics are fit for a quilt.
