I've bought a few things from them but they don't have a good return policy. Too many hoops to jump through to get something returned. I received an item that was defective. After a many emails and phone calls I did get a refund but I got a nasty letter about their return policy and they were making an exception this one time. I would by-pass them and buy from a company that had great customer service.

forgot to say there is a 25% restocking fee on returns after a certain date of purchase and no shipping charges paid for a return.

I haven't heard about them, until now. Not sure I would want to buy from them. Bellaboo had a bad experience and that is enough to scare me off. Go ahead and try them, if you think you should. Maybe they have changed their policy.

Go to this page to read about the owner/designer of the site. http://www.softexpressions.com/sharla/index.htm

There are many other sources out there who do not have the return issues mentioned above; I'd go elsewhere, personally.

I don't know anything about this company....and from your note, I don't think I ever will! There are too many firms out there who truly want our business and are willing to make wrongs, right...without the hassle! Fabric.com, eQuilter, Connecting Threads are among the ones I love...

I have purchased a few books from that website, but never had to return anything.

For the "fabric restorer", check out http://www.retroclean.com . Several people here have used RetroClean with great results.

I bought some items from them with good service. However, I've never had to return anything.

The basic design of their website is enough to deter me!
