Do you have to cut with the fabric grain or does it matter?

I try not to cut on the bias if there's any way around it but otherwise I don't pay much attention unless it's directional fabric.

I don't worry about it but things sometimes get a little wonky and I have to fudge to get points right :)

I love the design of your quilt and I am going to duplicate the strips and squares. How big did u cut the squares? They look about 8 or 10 inch squares.
