I kept some of my grandmothers housecoats when she passed away. I thought they would be used to make some comforting throws. Like "Hugs from Grandma".
Haven't done anything with them yet. Have had trouble with my hand. But they are waiting for me when I am ready to use them. I had been wondering what is the best way to cut them for use. Thanks to you I now have some direction.

when i say 'housecoats' to anyone under 45 they don't know what i'm talking about. it's like i'm bi-lingual.

That's too funny! I almost used the word "Dusters" but I thought some ladies would think I was trying to use "Swiffers, or Pledge" dusting clothes. Does that mean I am getting OLD!!! LOL
