Cutting Mat
Good morning ladies....I could use some advice. It is going to be a real hot week-end in the North East. A good time to get the bubbles out of my very large cutting mat. I understand if I place it in the hot sun it will once again lay flat for me. Advice needed: do I place it on the concrete;
bubble up or bubble down....Thanks in advance.

Never heard of this Beebee. I too live in the northeast where the humidity is as unbearable as the heat. Bubble down sounds right. If you aren't successful, you could probably fry eggs on it in this heat!

I can't believe how hot it is out, and how cold it is in.... I worry about the dog walking .. We took a walk earlier, and it was humid, but I've been picking him up.. I don't want him to burn his pads..

I live in Texas - and I laid mine out with the back side down (so I guess my bubbles were on the top). I left it out all day in the sun on the concrete. More or less the bubbles were gone. I think I can still slightly tell where my mat was distorted. Have thought about laying it out one more day, maybe with a heavy book or board on it. However, as I still used this mat before (I just avoided the bubbled area) - I will still use it now - and as I mentioned - mostly the area is flatted out.

It helps if you have a big piece of glass to lay on top of your mat while outside...like one from a table top or a glass shelf. Make sure to measure your gridlines after flattening as sometimes they can be distorted.

Here is a link to care and troubleshooting cutting mat problems. I stumbled upon it awhile back. It has a lot of good info.
