    Default help with tapestry panel

    I have a taperty panel of a pug dog that I would like to make into a wall hanging . But I don'r know how . What fabric to use ? Or the block ? So if you can come up with some ideas.

    I made one for my husband before we married. I sandwiched it with thin batting and quilted the buck along body features to make him stand out. A few of the background features got quilted as did the border details. After binding it with a dark color I sewed a hanging sleeve on the back. Turned out quite nice and he and my son love it. Have fun with it. Well worth the time and was a simple project. Lots of bang for the buck. LOL.

    I like Judi's idea of the outline quilting, and if you'd like to make the tapestry piece itself larger why not look for upholstery fabric at your local fabric store? I've seen some fabrics that look like tapestry and you could add border strips to your pug.
