All you ladies are wonderful for offering to keep my fabric safe. It's ok. Kit aka Big Boy guards my room for me, so nothing can steal my fabric. He's great at doing that!

K..See the darker blue in the fabric? The Cobalt Blue? That's the blues I'm going for. It can be with yellow or white, but no other color. I just love Cobalt Blue and thought it would be pretty.

    If you go here http://www.quiltingboard.com/posts/list/16987.page
Scroll down you will see the 2d quilt (that's mine made by Machel :) )
See the blue on the border? That's the color blue. (maybe just a shade darker since pictures don't always show true colors on the site)

The scrap that Barb sent will be incorporated into the quilt, but I think using that as a border would be AWESOME, don't you agree?
Now, I'm scouring fabric sites to find it .... that is, WHEN I have time. :)

Plus, the person would have to pay alot of money to fly here. Not an easy trip!!

Here's a pic of the fabric. Isn't it awesome?!?!?!
    The brown is my loveseat.
Gorgeous fabric. I think you should cut a piece of the fabric on your loveseat to use with it. It's a perfect match! I know, it's probably too heavy, but who would miss the hole you cut out of the back of the couch?

Hmmm, Terri, it does look like the Tomato( :D ) nibbled on your package. But I guess he will protect you from anyone coming to get you! I hope the Tomato ( :D ) doesn't like chocolate, maybe the Easter Bunny will have to wrap any gifts up in chainmail!

    This made me laugh
Last night, not getting much time with d#2, I took her out to eat w/ grandbaby. We were reminiscing about family stuff. We were talking about one of my nieces, her cousin, how she liked to scare her younger sister...5 years age difference.
When Kathy was three, Kim came running into my house, (she couldn't say tornado), so she yelled,
"Kathy, there's tomatoes in the bushes, there's tomatoes in the bushes!"
Kiiiiimmm, are you scaring your sister again????

keep the envelope Terri, for dna evidence.
Did you notice the teeth marks on it?
    oh them buggers,
guess somebody was having a good day, (whistling scared them off, before they made off with that luscious fabric.)
whew, that was a close one, no telling what they were gonna substitute with...maybe a psychedelic geometric or something...

Thanks all for looking for me.
I'm willing to pay you back for them.

But, I'd LOVE, LOVE, LOVE to have yardage of what Barb sent.
She says she's going to see if she can ask the lady she got it from. I'm just in love with that.......Oh, how I wish I were back in the states!!
Maybe I'll need to get a "bug up my butt" and tell hubby I'm going to visit the inlaws....he might have a heart attack from me saying that. lol But, there are weekly flights from here to McConnell in KS.
Hmm...there's an idea! I could fly in there, visit with the inlaws for a bit, rent a car and drive to CA, hop a flight out of CA back here! OH MY!! Thinking, thinking, thinking!! lol

Says it was received this way at Hagatna Post Office.
Think maybe the Taotaomona Got it? lol

Barb...does your quilt shop have any more of this fabric? It's BEAUTIFUL!!
I can send you a check, along to include the money for shipping. Let me know.
Please excuse me as I step upon my soap box for a minute. I know the postal workers are very busy (but not as busy as they once were before the internet, huh). It seems that when a package is damaged as yours was, that they would have figured out a way to repackage -- even slip it into a clear plastic envelope or something) so that the package reaches it's destination "safely." Goodness knows, we pay enough postage.

What probably happened is that they ran it through a piece of machinery that they shouldn't have instead of handling it manually.

The valentine package that I sent returned to me in terrible condition. I had to re-package it before sending it back.

OK, I'm done. I love your fabric. Thanks for listening. G
