    The post from Cherisews just proves once again that we have some very smart and experienced quilters on this board. Thanks for giving some great and easy to follow solutions for this "problem".

    Shelbie, thanks for the compliment! I love designing and creating blocks, so I saw this as a challenge. Had lots of fun! I really liked the 3rd block in my second post and was curious to see how it would work in a quilt. It gives a lot of play and motion:
