Default Dear Husband fixed my cabinet to fit new machine

My new Bernina did not fit into my sewing cabinet, so my husband being as crafty as he is, filed the wood down and now it fits perfectly. It was way too high for me just sitting on top of the cabinet, and new cabinets are sooo expensive. This is actually my Mother's cabinet I inherited from her. I am thrilled and ready to get to work!

How wonderful! To be able to use your mother's cabinet, and to have such a handy husband.

That's great! I asked about using the same cabinet for my new machine, and I was told it couldn't be done, that I would need to buy a new cabinet made of particleboard, when my old cabinet is walnut. So, I kept the old machine in the old cabinet.

It looks great. I can not seem to sew unless machine is set in cabinet--more flat working surface. He did a good job !

It looks great.........good job! My husband recessed my new machine for me last month into the big conference table I bought from an office store a few years ago. I love it and he, too, did an awesome job! Aren't we lucky!!!
Enjoy your new machine and table!
