Here is something I found useful in hand piecing my Dear Jane. Just a small flannel board to arrange your pieces to keep them in place. I just use a piece of corrugated cardboard and covered it with flannel. The pieces stick well to keep down the confusion. :) I hope this helps.

good tip! have ordered the dj on disc .... what are you working from? the dj site has lots of tips, too. this'll be a real challenge for me.
how far along are you?

I bought the book and am hand piecing it. I have done the first 5 rows so far, and some of the top scallops. I will attach all of these and then quilt that section. Then I will move on and make 4 rows and quilt those and attach them to the first section. That way its easier to quilt it all by hand.
