Default DecoBob 80wt thread

Is it okay to quilt with this thread? I want to quilt a top quite densely with matchstick lines. Is this thread okay to use in bobbin and needle for this? Is there anything I should be aware of?

Decobob is fine for quilting with. I actually use Wonderfil's finer thread invisifil quite often for quilting, more often than decobob. Invisifil is 100wt. My good friend uses decobob in the bobbin and invisifil in the top on her longarm and has no issues.

Great for wall hangings or show quilts. I might want a heavier weight for a much used quilt.
