Fabric.com 20% off already on clearance. They have "Breakfast at Tiffany's" for Moda. But you didn't hear it from me!

Mine didn't get it either, until I asked him if he uses cheap tools for the car. He hasn't asked me how much I'm spending on this or that yet.

OH MY! Well, we do what we have to do. Save pennies. For me it will be quilting for others and spending on my habit anyway.

I saw the same info on the rising cost of food, clothes and cotton. Whee do you cut back?

I packed up most of my stash to bring with me to Florida for 7 months of piecing. I really didn't think I had that much. The back of my truck (I have a shell on there) is full to the top with material and I had to leave 5 very large totes of fabric at home since I do have to have clothes for those 7 months as well. My 2 suitcases and sewing machine are in my back seat with my pillows! And I was bad and ordered a bunch of fabric that was on sale and had those THREE boxes shipped to my daughter's home in Florida! Oh, and there is the whole bolt I bought and it's also being shipped to Florida! I best be very productive while I'm in Florida!!! But with the price increase, I'm treating all my stash like it cost $10 a yard!

It was in our newspaper today but the article talked about the cost of clothes going up to reflect the increase in cotton ... of course I knew that would include quilting fabrics too.

Now that's a real stash. My sweet hubby is building extra shelves for me to store some of mine, as he's sick and tired of seeing fabric all over the house. Am I blessed, or what?
