Congratulations to both of you! You are both artists and survivors! Blessings to you and yours for a continued long and healthy life with lots more quilts-maybe even with bigger pieces!

Amazing!! I have to hand it to him. He did something that I'd never attempt. My DH has made 4 postage size quilts using 1&1/2 inches squares and he said that your DH has gone where no man has gone before. Our quilting hats go off to him!!

What a inspirational couple you are! Determination must be your husband's middle name! Thank-you for sharing this story of triumph over seemingly impossible odds.

You both should be very proud of each other for your accomplishment. I can't even begin to imagine making a quilt that has over 100,000 pieces. Like your husband, I found PT wasn't doing much for my hand, arm and shoulder after our motorcycle accident (crushed fingers on left hand, left scapula broken in 2 places and major damage to the ball and socket of left shoulder) so as soon as the sling came off I got my hand quilting stand out and went to work. Doing that did so much more for my injuries and to this day I have more movement than I would have had by just doing PT. Just goes to how how therapeutic quilting can be for the mind, body and soul. Merry Christmas to you both and God bless.
