Go look at videos for the "Lone Star quilt" on YouTube. There are several that make them using strata.. If I ever try one, that is the method I will use.

You guy's are awesome and always helpful, I have written down all of the suggestions and will check it out. I'm scared of "Y" seams for some reason but I'm going to try some of the sites you listed. I bought the 60 degree angle template from Fons and Porter and they have a lesson on how to cut out the diamonds but not how to sew them together.
