I have some fabric that only goes one direction, i.e. it's not tossed pictures, if that makes sense. I am wondering do I have the borders face in towards the center of the quilt or towards the outside binding? (Should my ducks face the center of the quilt or the binding?) Thanks! I know I can always count on you here for answers.

I put them so that the top of the border is towards the binding. I'll look for a picture to show you.

Thank you for the picture. Actually, I have seen your beautiful quilt before when I was asking questions about the D9P. I used yours for inspiration for my doggy one. I will post pictures when I am farther along on it. Right now I'm making a Downy quilt for Kids. I will see if I can find pictures of the blocks I have done already.

I'd do them so that all face towards the center. That is how most of them you see are.

I doubt it would matter as long as you do the same with all borders. Can you post a pic??

You could lay it out both ways and take pictures, then look them over and decide which way you want them. My quilt is directional, so I wanted the top to match the center. Worked for me! :)
