First is my favorite but both are really pretty.

I like the first one better. It leaves a wonderful space for a pretty quilting motif. But if you plan to quilt it with an all over design then the 2nd may be a better option for you.

Nice quilt top. I like both, but prefer the first.

With this design, what do you use on the border? By that, I mean what fills in the triangles? Do you use half squares or is it a solid piece of fabric?

I see why you can't decide. I like both. I have no particular leaning one way or the other. I fall back on the same old phrase, "Your quilt, do what YOU like." In other words, chose the one that just feels best in your creative heart.
