    Steve instead of quilting it why don't you just tie it. I think that it would look great as a tied quilt.

    You make a single stitch with a heavier thread and tie it into a knot at specific intervals to hold the front, batting and back together. This technique is used instead of hand or machine quilting.

    Ah, I thought that was called tacking. I did this with a church group my Aunt is a member of while on vacation last summer.

    I love how you so excited about quilting and have people in mind for quilts. Also that you are taking your projects to work!

    It looks real nice so far and yes, I believe a child or a lot of grown-ups, would like it!
