But I wouldn't mind being a mouse in your pocket at the next committee meeting....
I emailed our group... said it wasn't going to work easily and named a substitute block . I have the instructions already written and our next meeting we are starting to cut fabric. No one argued, no one thought I should persevere...we have one member of the organizing group who is trying very hard to make this her vision of the quilt vs the vision the group intended...so far, all the others including me are just doing what we all (except her) saw as our vision from the beginning....Ironically, after I substituted the new block, and I countered one her "making it her way" plans, the others jumped in behind me in support... so, all good!
Elaine, sounds like you have a (mostly) flexible and cooperative bunch! In a world where everything feels at least a teensy bit insane,
let’s keep quilting fun!
