Do most of you hand bind or machine bind your binding
#151
I also do it this way. I don't mind sewing the binding on by hand, it's relazing, but does take time.

Same here!
I machine everything else so why not the binding. Sometimes I stitch the binding onto the back and bring it around to the front and then machine stitch and other times I stitch the binding to the front - as is usual - and machine stitch down on the back. Either way I am happy with the result and know that it is going to stay stitched no matter what.

I machine stitch. I don't enjoy hand work and I don't care for the look of hand stitched bindings. I go back to front as long as there is a border because that is the look I like. I think the binding is the final border. IF there is no border I go front to back so as not to change the shape of the edge blocks.

I machine stitch it to the front then fold it over and hand stitch to the backing, pretty much my favorite part other than piecing the front. I find it relaxing and it gives me something to do when I can't or don't feel like being at my sewing machine. SANDWICHING..... that is my NEMESIS!!!!!!
