Do quilting fabrics with metallic threads.......

generally wash okay and not lose the look? Accidentally order some non returnable goods that I did not notice had metallic accents, thank you!

I've had some that they have pretty much washed off ... and some where they have stayed as good as they were before washing.

Is your fabric with metallic threads?
Or is it a surface application?

It doesn't bother me - overly much - when the "gold/silver/copper" PRINT wears off.

I've also wondered about how the metallic(?) threads survive.
