I've been able to remove either glitter or gold etching (can't remember) from fabric by wiping it with a cotton ball soaked in acetone. Do it outside since the stuff is flammable. Try it on a small piece if you are still not sure you will like it as is.

Do they make this fabric without the sparkles - I really dont like the texture of this fabric.

If not I am open to suggestions for this dresdan.

Thanks cheryl
  Hi Cheryl, IMHO this look is great. I love your pastels. You said that you bought the Dresdan already done. If you don't mind letting us know. Can you tell us where you got it? Did you purchase them at the same place? The butterflys are super and I bet you will be happy with it when the quilt is finished. Please show pictures, whatever you decide. BrendaK

The sparkle fabric with the fussy cut butterfly really makes the Dresdan Plate pattern "pop". I love it!
