I found something just like that the local WalMart without the sprinkles. Was with the fairy fabric.

Did you use a special template for that butterfly? It looks like
it was made for just that one butterfly.

I myself save plastic lids and cut them into whatever shape I want. Since they have no markings on them they work nicely. I would like to find sets of different sizes, it would make it easier when I'm frustrated and ruin every lid I cut!!
Right now I just have the fabric layed under the dresdan lol
I have a GO cutter so thats what I thought I might try if the die is the right size. I have some creative memories cutting templates I have thought about trying - I havent tried it yet though - I think I also have a curcular cutter for scrapbooking made by fiskars - will have to play around with it though. I am just not real fond of the texture of fabric with the sparkles - has anyone sewed with it before?

The greens dont match but its the closest thing I have found so far!!! Would rather have a smaller floral print but I havent found any that has all the colors!!!

Thanks for input thus far - I appreciate it.

The butterfly fabric is a great match to your plates. And the fussy cut butterfly is adorable... Go for it!

I love the butterfly center. The colors are perfect together.

I am not a sparkly type of person, but I think that fabric is perfect. I liked the idea of adding some sparkly thread to tie it in. Either way, I love the colors.

I love sparkles and think you found the perfect fabric! Maybe you could wash the fabric a couple of times on the harshest washing cycle on your washing machine and dim them a little?

Oh, how beautiful!! the sparkles are really really nice, will really set it all off. Love the fussy cut center. Especially if you use the different colored butterflies in the different blocks, then use the same fabric for sashing and or borders.
