Yep, bought two yards of the non sparkly couple weeks ago for baby quilts here at Jo Anns also. I do like the sparkly stuff though but interesting about what Grannie brought up about them getting into children's eyes. Never thought of that.

The fabric is perfect for your Dresden.
This is what I was thinking as well. The colors are perfect for your quilt, I wouldn't worry so much about the sparkles.
How big is the quilt and is it to be a gift? Might the recipient like the sparkles more than you do? Keep the receiver in mind not just your preferences.

I think it is a perfect match. I would use if it were me.

I would use it. The sparkle will most likely wash out any ways after several washes.

Did you use a special template for that butterfly? It looks like
it was made for just that one butterfly.

I myself save plastic lids and cut them into whatever shape I want. Since they have no markings on them they work nicely. I would like to find sets of different sizes, it would make it easier when I'm frustrated and ruin every lid I cut!!
Right now I just have the fabric layed under the dresdan lol
I have a GO cutter so thats what I thought I might try if the die is the right size. I have some creative memories cutting templates I have thought about trying - I havent tried it yet though - I think I also have a curcular cutter for scrapbooking made by fiskars - will have to play around with it though. I am just not real fond of the texture of fabric with the sparkles - has anyone sewed with it before?

The greens dont match but its the closest thing I have found so far!!! Would rather have a smaller floral print but I havent found any that has all the colors!!!

Thanks for input thus far - I appreciate it.
I have sewed with the sparkeled fabric many times, making scrub tops for nurses and aids. The sparkle washes out after a few laundering.
