Do you always iron your fabric before you cut it?

I also wash and iron as soon as I get my fabric home, even FQ's...even if not using them right away. That way my fabric is ready when I want to use it. As wvdek says, you have to warm up the iron for seams anyway. ;)

I iron and starch heavily. I like my fabric very crisp before I cut or sew it. Once the quilt is done I wash it to make it soft again. I found that Niagara spray starch will not flake on fabric. I can only find it at General Dollar Stores here. No other store carries it, not even the local grocery stores.

I don't use starch or sizing.
Even if I ironed/pressed it when I put it away. After washing the fabric.
Hate to fight with those creases.
