need open toe walking foot
#1
I tried using a walking foot and doing SID today for the first time. It went better than I expected. Far from perfect, but for me, pretty good. I need more visibility seeing the seamline but don't know where to get an open toe walking foot for my Singer Curvy. I had no luck searching online. Any ideas? TIA

I have never seem one, but I have seen this one, which is not completely open, but may be open enough to view better.

DB said that he would remove part of the front of my foot for me, to improve the visibility
The same with the plastic FMQ foot I have too... I just have to catch up with him LOL

I never heard that hint about using a bobbin for the upper thread. That is so clever! It would definitely help. I guess that the thread would still feed ok. If anyone has tried this, please let us know!
