Because of the medications I take, if I had an alcoholic drink, I would fall asleep and get either the dreaded keyboard face if here on the computer or something new and interesting like.. hmmm... sewing machine or cutting board face. Not thinking those would be pretty sights either.
I am supposed to drink lots of water, and keep it nearby, but must confess that once I get involved in cutting or sewing, it sits forgotten until the body requires me to take a break.

Hot tea in the morning, in the winter hot tea in the evening as well. Water the rest of the time. To many of my family members are addicted to the hard stuff. I chose not to drink.

A bottle of water only. At our retreats, some of the ladies bring wine for the evening hours. I put a sign on the cutting table that said," FRIENDS DON'T LET FRIENDS, DRINK AND USE A ROTARY CUTTER".

It was a joke, with a serious undertone.

Now the beer I could do, but not when I am cutting. No telling what I would create. LOL

I always have water or dt dr pepper, I purchased a drink holder that hooks onto the table from a local scrapbook store, it keeps the drink away from my projects.

I drink a splash of orange juice and diet 7-up with ice. If I had a glass of wine or anything else, I would never get anything finished.

For me, I drink a pot of coffee in the morning then switch over to ice tea. Yes, I do keep a cup in the sewing room at all times, and knock on wood, have never had a mishap. I'm not much of a drinker and have a Margarita the few times a year we go out for mexican food. But I learned a hundred years ago to limit myself to only one.

Only water and not on my sewing table. Don't need to electrocute myself!
