When making a special quilt for that special person(s), do you ever find that you just about cry when you get close to finishing it???

I am working on a wedding quilt for my son and DIL-to-be. I have been posting my progress here as a sort of quilt diary! Yet, as I near completeion, I find that working on it chokes me up and puts tears in my eyes.

I am not sure if it is the story of them finally getting to that point in their lives or what. I just become emotional with it and have to set it aside and wipe the eyes so I make sure I can match things well....

Maybe it is a combination of all of this? It is and emotional time when our babies take this step in life (((HUGS))) :D:D:D
