I get it too. I wasn't going to renew this year but I did. I have been finding I get more info on line than in the magazine. I haven't been too thrilled with their customer service this year and have been thinking about not renewing when the time comes.

I am drastically cutting back on my quiltig magazine subscriptions. Most of them are loaded with advertising and lots less real quilting patterns and information. The subscription prices are extremely high and I would think with all the ads that they could drop it quite a bit and still make money. When I compare the older magazines I find that they had a lot more quilting "meat" than the new ones.

Just a suggestion to those with the digital subscription. I have a running word doc with the date of the magazine and then a list of all of my favorite patterns. This way if I need a quilt pattern I can quickly look it up and find what I am looking for. Just an fyi!!

Fons and Porter has digital now. Any pattern that is theirs has video embedded so you can watch the pattern being made by them. Pretty neat. Also any ad product that has a how to video you can watch. Very interactive digital magazine. Here is a link, it's hard to find. It's not listed anywhere.

If you go here you can preview a free issue:
