Unfortunately they haven't made a naked men fabric with the type of body that houses my one son-in-law - I would buy bolts of it and slash away to my heart's content!!!

lol! yes! there is even a pattern called "just can't cut it"!
you can use those types of fabrics in large block quilts, like this one..

    these are large blocks!

I have that problem. I simply put a grid and backing and a binding on some fall fabric because I could not bear to cut
it. It's just so nice in one whole piece.

I am also cutting out one right now that has a Charlie Brown
Easter theme to it. I am cutting the blocks so that Lucy
sitting in a whole bunch of eggs is complete on the block.
I'm wasting a lot of fabric, but I think it would look really
stupid with cutting bodies in half.

If there's a way other than destroying a pattern, I will do it.
Another suggestion is if you can't get around it, use the fabric
as backing for the quilt. Then you don't have to cut anything.

Nope, I just cut away. I always think long and hard about the pattern I am going to use to compliment the fabric. But when I decide I have no problem slicing and dicing.

Some of these new fabrics are so beautiful I just can't cut them. Make whole cloth quilts out of them.
