Have one less than a mile from home and another less than 20 miles and at least 5 other quilt shops within a 20 mile radius - one is about a mile from home (besides JoAnns)

Oh, wow! I'd have to move. I'd get into sew much trouble. That's too dangerous!

I stopped at one on my way home from work last night. I needed to get some fabric with bugs on it and they had it! Their sales lately have been pretty good.

You can get the coupons on line most of the time. But my experience has been that most things are on sale and so the coupons are usless.

I love when I get the 50% off coupons about twice a year---then we go buy an entire BOLT of Warm and Natural!

Mine is across the street, back side anyway. I use my coupons for notions mostly, not too much of their fabrics.

Closest to me is 2 hours. Went there today - first time in months and was not impressed at all. They seem to have a lot less fabric than the last time I was there. I have 2 Hancocks, each about 2 hours away - 1 north 1 south, and the closest WM no longer has fabric. But---I am so lucky to have a LQS 10 miles from me. Great fabric and prices. I probably won't go back to Joann's.

Isn't it funny the differences in stores? Until the new one opens I have 3 an hour away. All of the stores have their own personalities and amount of products. I have bought notions and fabrics from each of them and have noticed the 'personality' in each place.

We used to have a JoAnn's about 1 mile from us and they closed down and went out to Roseville, (suburb) and melded with another JoAnn's. I love JoAnn's. You have to feel the fabric first before you buy it and I do love their fat quarters. I do a lot of sampler quilts and they are just what the doctor ordered!

I save up my coupons, get them online and head on over there and spend my little full pocketbook empty!

And the girls that worked at the old JoAnn's are at the new JoAnn's so it is like old home week, too. Edie
