I was going through some old hand made templates of my Grandmother and found this picture. I have never heard of this block. Looks like it is really hard. Thanks,

Very interesting block. My guess is was designed to hand piece. Thanks for sharing the little gem in the quilt world:)

Definitely looks to be a hand piecing project. I agree with Lisa it would make a very pretty quilt. Thanks for showing it to us.

It would be easy to machine piece if you made the center block 4 triangles. Then you would just piece each quarter of the block and sew together.

It's a very interesting block. Would be nice to know it's history.
