Default Do you know the name of this quilt block?

I'm scrolling block by block to find the block used in this quilt. I'm dizzy with wonderful blocks but I haven't found this one yet. Maybe some of you know the name of the block off the top of your head?

don't know what the name of it is, but it's a pretty simple block, all squares and flying geese (or HST). Since it's an 8X8 grid, you can make an 8" block with the small squares finishing at 1" or a 16" block with the small squares finishing at 2"

THanks so much PaperPrincess. I did not see that it was on an 8 x 8 grid.... THanks for taking the time to sketch out for me. I've printed it and will figure out for a queen size quilt...

I do volunteer sewing for a hand quilting group. Most are very senior and don't sew much any more. But they value their social time every week by hand quilting a raffle quilt... I have been sewing raffle quilt tops for them for 10 years. They came to me with this one. I like it...

You are welcome. I just got EQ7 last week and am just looking for opportunities to use it! Glad to have helped.

I have a book that identifies the block as Blackford's Beauty. I think it is a beauty!
