Default Do you know the name of this quilters cache quilt block?

I saw this illusion block on Pinterest and it states it is a Quilters Cache block/pattern design but doesn't give the name. Marcia has far too many quilt blocks for me to go through to try and find it. I've looked under Shadowbox, illusion but no luck. Just hoping someone might know the name.

It's not from Quilter's Cache - it's actually called Rainbow Cube by Karen Combs. She says on her blog that that quilt was stolen, so I don't know if there is a pattern for it. https://karencombs.wordpress.com/cat...usions/page/2/ She does have a Craftsy class, so you might be able to figure it out from there.

I think it is the attic window block done in 3 sections to make a cube. Here is the link: http://www.quilterscache.com/A/AtticWindowsBlock.html

That is a beautiful quilt. I understand why a person would want to make one. This person included. I think yngldy is correct in her post. Gonna give it a try.

I am hooked on triangles so I saw the triangles in this. The cube is made up of diamonds that are 2 60* triangles sewn together. 1 triangle has a black bottom half and the other has a white bottom half. Three diamonds are put together to form the 'center point' of the cube. Then additional diamonds are placed around to form what looks like windows. Hope that was clearer than mud~~

The attic window block is a square. You need a diamond.
