No I don't like them because you have to be sure its cut straight if your doing squares etc.

I'd use two colors as whole blocks and then lay them perpendicular to each other and make a basketweave effect.

I like ALL kinds of batiks, but have yet to add stripes to my stash. The stripes would lend themselves to many uses.

Oohh! Love the first one. I have never seen anything like it. Would be perfect for a landscape quilt. Is it new or still available? Now I have something new to look when I got to Pacific International Quilt Show next month.

I actually used the second one (purple and pink) as a border and backing on a batik quilt and it was stunning.
