Timeless Treasures does print on a thicker fabric than most of the manufacturers. (Alexander Henry and Michael Miller also print on this "beefier" cloth.)

The Marble Mania line I would describe as having a larger scale to the mottling. Meaning that the size of the light areas and dark areas is bigger than the light and dark areas in Moda Marbles. (Does that make sense?)

Ooo, that sounds good, too. :) Thanks. I like marbles as backgrounds for surface design (stamping and printing mostly) and meatier fabrics are much better for that imo.

I also like Maywood Shadowplay and the Marble Multi-mate by Moda. I've seen and have some of the Patrick Lose marbles that he does for Timeless and they're a bit more color concentrated than the ones that he does for Moda.

Love them. I also like Benartex's Fossil Ferns. They both come in so many colors!

My quilting buddy and I have a saying we use A LOT..."I've never met a Moda Marble I haven't loved" but I have to admit I love them all, Fusions, etc.

I have to admit i love them all too! i often find that when I am trying to match a particular fabric, i prefer to use the blender/mottle or even solid by the same manufacturer. They use the same dyelots and i find they match best. JMHO.
