The book A YEAR IN THE LIFE OF SUNBONNET SUE has a very cute wllhanging block for Halloween. It has a different block for every month and I just missed having the 4th July done on time. Sewlady69

no, but I would love too. Have several Sun Bonnet books for patterns. Just keep collecting fabric and notions for them.

when I lived with my grandparents and my GM taught me how to do hand sewing, I made SBS needle holders out of felt with flanel leaves inside. Every thing was buttonhole stitched on the edges. I had mine for years before it disappeared -- probably during my divorce

I just finished a small wall quilt with Sue as a Valentine. She's in a heart shaped block surrounded by heart buttons and trimmed with lace around the heart and on her bonnet. Kathy in IL.

I found a new way for Sue----I make the bags that hold plastic grocery bags with an overlay of an apron and I've appliqued a Sue to the front! They really turn out nice and they are different from the tube bag holders you see everywhere.

I was just going to say that I think those are really funny. I used to make SBS for baby quilts about ten years ago, have not made any lately.
