Flannel- Just did one for a church auction & instead of batting like I usually do I used flannel. Had gotten a flannel sheet set @ a garage sale, washed it & have been using it instead of batting for some vests & table runners. Works beautifully- Just used the spray to sandwich together

I find a low loft works best for me ...gives it just enough thickness and lays flat.
