Default Do You Photograph the Recipients of Your Quilts?

I keep a running written list of the people I give my quilts to, but I also like to take their pictures with the item I made. I was just wondering if you do that?

I have kept a journal ever since I began quilting about 7 years ago. I try to get a photo of the quilt with the recipient, but it doesn't always happen. I do keep a photo of the quilt along with start/complete dates and anything else I think of at the time.

No I had never thought of it but it's a great idea! I've just tried to take a picture of all the quilts I've made. Had several get past me though.

I've had some get past me too. I try to at least get a pic of the quilt.

I wish I would remember to get a picture of each quilt I make!! And then put them all at the same place.
My sister is a rughooker and she takes a picture of every rug, finished and in process, and the label is numbered with the number rug it is in her portfolio. She is organized like that. Her wool stash is all shelved by color, weave, and tagged with how she died it if she did.

Since I've only made quilts for my children and given them at Christmas, YES, I do photograph them!

I have photos of all my quilts but not with the people I gave them to.

I try to as well, but I tend to get so caught up in the reactions of the receivers and forget to take pictures, not mention most times I forget the camera, too...lol

I have made seven quilts so far and have pictures of each one. I didn't do a great job with the first four, baby quilts, but now I make sure I take one.

I take pictures with the recipient but they are all family gifts. I just wish I were a better photographer.
