I must be more modern. I think 30s fabrics and 30s patterns are about the ugliest things ever. You all can officially have my share.

I like them all but tend to do more traditional, I've been trying to get outside that box.

I'm with sissor Queen, I hate the 30's fabric however I lean towards the traditional but like most fabrics.

Both. I've always enjoyed history so I'm attracted to traditional. I also make a lot of political quilts and that leads to either outright modernism or modernized traditional.

I think I agree with Irishrose. I like traditional patterns with new bright fabrics.

Traditional patterns.
Reproductions fabrics.
Quilts with patriotic themes and colors.
Blenders (Jinny Beyer, marbles, tone-on-tone).
Self-designed patterns.

I just want to look at the quilt or quilt pattern and be able to say "Oh my gosh, how beautiful is that!" Beautiful and ugly come in both traditional and modern.

Love traditional, but will sometimes 'cross over'

I find my tastes change all the time. I started out having no interest in civil war repro fabrics and traditional quilts and now I can't get enough.
