I love the traditionals. I love the patterns with a new twist of colors or quilting.

I love them both. The traditional literally touch my heart but any modern twist on one thrills me. I absolutely love a well done art quilt. On the other hand, I really don't like OBW and some of the geometrical ones. I can see the skill that goes into making them but wouldn't want to own one. They don't seem quilty to me but the artist in me says go for it.

Modern patters. If I am going to be doing a traditional block, it needs the modern fabrics. I even love the Art Quilts but have not hand the nerve to do one of these yet

I love both....am in progress on a bargello and love how easy it is going together. I also love working my way thru the traditionals, scrappy blocks. Paper Piecing is something on my bucket list...already have the pattern, but have to find time to make something for me!

Traditional in design, color, fabric. Modern just doesn't seem right to me, not a "real" quilt...I do appreciate the work on modern stuff, but like others, not MY cop of tea.

for my personal quilts, it's modern all the way. but when making quilts for my mom and sisters, it's very traditional in both patterns and fabric.

Traditional patterns and fabrics. Love the civil war reproduction fabrics! Not too crazy about the 30's repros though I do love the patterns from that era.
