Surprise - we do! We've only been married 14 years and he still loves the cosy/snuggly time we have always shared. So, since I am retired and have lots of free time and he is still working I indulge him. He is a good, hard working man and works long hours but I love to tease him.

Where do you live in Oregon? I am from Seattle and have family in Aloha.

I live in Dallas, just east of Salem. It used to be a nice dreary little town, but it's grown a lot in the past 24 years. Too much traffic, too many people, can't take an evening stroll. Dallas used to be in the Guiness book for having the most churches per capita, and there are just as many bars! It still has a good school system, but it's much too busy for me. My daughter, on the other hand, says it's boring.

Between husband, children, working part-time, and housework, my time to sew is between 5:00 a.m. and 8:00 a.m. (when my youngest wakes). Since DH leaves for work at 5 am it's the best "alone time" I have. The rest of the day is pretty well shot! :)

Usually I sew/quilt at night or on the weekends as I work in the day time Mon-Fri. But after today, I leave on maternity leave for a year!!!!!!!! So I'll be sewing/quilting throughout the day whenever baby is sleeping :)

Hi!dljennings, I also work outside the home,I am in my quilting room sometimes at 5:30 in the morning and sew till 7:00.I go to work at 9-6,so most evenings I'm too tired. But in Spring I do pray for rain once in awhile on weekends so I can sew, due to being outside.

Men can get jealous but most dh's have their hobbies and we need ours mine just happens to be quilting. The only thing my hubby gets agitated about is money I spend on ebay. It is addicting all those fabrics and quilting goodies. I really do love bidding and winning.
