Right now I'm looking forward to a reward, desperately! And when the monster I'm working on is done..... ooooh, that will be my reward!!!! Then I can do something else for a while (I rarely work on more than one quilt at a time). I absolutely love the quilt I'm doing now (it's at my dh's suggestion and for him) but I want it to be perfect, and I'm not a perfect quilter!

The idea of new fabric, new ruler, whatever, or even the chocolate all sound deserved to me! Actually dh rewards me every time we go near a quilt store. He's a "pusher".

I reward myself too. DH loves to buy from Ebay...linen shirts and designer shoes dirt cheap. So when he hits 50.00 which is probably 5 shirts and 3 pairs of shoes, off I go to either JAs on Connecting threads. He shops I shop both of us are happy.

Guilt is something so unnecessary. It weights you down. Ditch the guilt. You deserve your reward after a job well done!

It's probably good that I can't afford to reward myself with fabric all the time lol...every time I would buy fabric I would want to start a new project...just what I need lol

I just pre ordered the Kindle Fire with a pretty sleeve to put it in. Now I have to start a new quilt project to get done before it arrives. My rewards are more like dessert first. LOL.

I do the same thing. I ALWAYS feel quilty if I buy myself something. However, we have to remember that we work very hard for our families and we deserve it!

Depends on what I am rewarding for !! Right now, I am looking forward to a bottle of flavored water...and a rest...reward for working without stop all day so far. LOL

Use your fabric and enjoy it. It is all worth it!
